TATA Steel UK, formerly British Steel, is the British arm of Indian company TATA Steel, a steel producer with operations in 26 countries and offices in over 35. Providing steel for markets as diverse as aerospace, automotive, defence and security and packaging, TATA runs steel plants in Port Talbot in South Wales, and in Redcar, near Middlesbrough, making use of a significant amount of recycled steel in the steel produced.
